Grief circle ritual

Based on the work of Francis Weller

Grief will come and go. Sometimes we will feel like we want to be alone with it, sometimes we will feel like we don’t have a space to let it flow in our busy, buttoned-up lives.

Our culture does not create spaces to hold grief as a community, but these spaces are vital. The more we let our grief wash through, the more revitalized and light we feel.

The more we tamp our grief down and repress it, the harder and heavier life is.

This is a (virtual) ritual space to process grief. This is a safe and welcoming space to grieve and be overcome by grief. Bring your grief, that is the meaning and medicine of this space.

How it works: We gather (over zoom), an orientation is provided (so you know the agenda and what to expect/do), an invocation is spoken to demarcate the sacred ritual space, we honor and hold space for grief, a closing.

Grief circle spaces are free + donation based.

A ritual space to let grief wash over you and be held in sacred community.

book club lite

Monthly discussion group for literary ideas

The reading content is either an article or an excerpt from a book and it is sent out to all people signed up for book club 2 weeks in advance or as soon as you sign up.

It is curated to take less than an hour to read and we switch it up with fiction and non-fiction.

We meet virtually over zoom for 1-1.5 hours to discuss the reading material and associated ideas convivially and genteelly.

Book Club suggested donation is $10, but if you can’t for whatever reason email me! You can still come, no problem! I promise, I’m happy to have you!

Book Club meets once a month, come join us! Sign up to receive info about joining Book Club:
